If it's safe I think $500 is a reasonable offer considering they are over $1000 new.

Amazes me that Amazon actually has some of them in stock

Geeze boss ,thats a fine looking ladder you got for yourself there.

Kelly if I need a ladder to go that high ,your the man I am going to call,I would have no problem figuring the cost of a sub for that part of the job. Hell, I start figuring that at thirty five and over.

LoL! I just want to climb it for the fun of it.....everyone scared of heights? Seriously though, anything over 3 stories my insurance doesn't cover, and I don't want anyway, AND if I can't reach off of a 32' ladder, it's boom lift time.

Couldnt have said it better myself.

Just like flying is the second greatest thrill known to man.

Landing is the first.

60 footer

I had to use one once. Not fun. We could not get a lift to the back of the house, so we borrowed the ladder, an aluminum triple rung 60'. Boss stood on the bottom rung for me to then push it up by myself then left once it was vertical for me to work back and forth to get the peak. That is one heavy beast.

Can't you just rappel from the top?

I often clear that height going up masts in a bosun's chair but a ladder? No way!

Our fire department has one 52' it's called a Bangor and it has two huge tormentor poles on the sides. it is at best a 3 man evolution to get the thing up. weighs a ton Never heard of it being used for real.
Boom or sizzor= best thing since sliced bread.
Afew years ago me and a buddy got stuck in one. The only way to get the boom down was to drive it out of this area and a truck had pulled in behind us and then broke down, at least we had a rope so someone could tie our dinner buckets to it.
