3" Verse 4" Painting Siding, And Boxing


Wich size brush do you perfer??? and why

I like a four inch, adn say it is faster, just a little hard to handle

I prefer a 3 1/2" semi-oval. Not too hard to handle yet big enough to carry some paint.

I don't run into many guys with the same brush choice.


I was taught with a 4" as cut-in brush. And continued using them for many years. Used the 3-1/2 as a trim brush, and now i use the 3-1/2 as just an all around brush, both for cut in and trim. Unless it is small trim then i bust out a 3 or what ever is needed.
