2 Power Roller Options... which is better?

I see that sprayers come with two options for power rollers.. One is an inner fed roller where the paint comes through from the inside of the roller. The other option is to have a spray roller kit, this is where a sprayer just hits the roller cover I guess. Which would be better choice? What are the advantages/disadvantages of one versus the other?

One, your sprayer feeds the roller, becoming a power roller... the other, atomizes the paint and your basically backrolling.

I see one on the Internet that claim is 3x faster regular power roller or dip & roll. I'm a little about this. May be for large jobs could work.

I've used a Wagner speed roller (ok don't laugh me out of the room yet... it was the homeowners... and he asked me if I wanted the thing). Well, I am not one to turn down the opportunity to try something new, no matter how ridiculous it may seem.

My conclusion is that the thing wasn't half bad really, except that the handle is short, so instead of dipping, and going floor to ceiling, I was pushing the button and making "w" shapes like the homeowners in about 4x4' spaces. I felt really silly, and was thankful noone was there to witness this atrocity, but it definately piqued my interest in power rollers. The amount of time saved by not having to "dip" is fairly substantial.

I also use the Graco 190 ES sprayer, but don't have the power roller wand (hehe... he said "wand"...), but I'm definately interested in giving it a go. I have a 5500 sq ft home coming up soon, and was thoinking this is just what the Dr ordered (except she wants many colors... major drawback).

BTW, if anyone is looking for good entry level airless action, the Graco 190ES is perfect. Fold-down handle, lightweight, plenty powerful, good gun, nice fat tires, easy access filter, great range of tips...

Titan makes/sells a kit that provides both types of rollers: inside fed and outside fed. Gonna try it sometime. Cost is about $300.

Seems like the outside feed would be less expensive to run as far a roller covers go... being a standard 9"...
