18" roller set up

I have been thinking of using the 18" roller set up by Wooster. The bucket is called a "wide boy". Any thoughts on using an 18" roller set up? If you do, what brand like Wooster or Sherwin William brands do you prefer??

Thanks

Sal

18" is the best all day long. it will make your arms strong after a 12 hour day.

wooster frames are the best - you can use any 18" sleeve, its the painter that makes it look good not the roller sleeve. Make sure you "freak it out" - Cleveland painting term for using masking tape to pull all the loose hairs off of a cheap roller sleeve.

I have not had good luck with this style frame:

...in fact, I've had bad enough luck with several, that I wouldn't use them again nor could I recommend or suggest them

This kind seems just fine:

However, my new favorite is The Hulk:

I was worried about the plastic clips, but so far so good
