Sized electrical wiring with breaker

I don't have the NEC book in front of me but the table that shows the sizing of the electrical wiring with the breakers is 210.24. Is that correct?

That is a very general table. It does not necessarily apply to things like A/C or motors.

210.24 only refers to ampacity, not the wire size itself. Ampacity, which is a result in part by wire size, is covered in Art. 310.
