nec article 250.95

i filled out an application for a apprentice job earlier today and it had a few questions. the one that i got stuck on was regarding article 250.95. which i cannot find in my 2002 nec. am i missing something or was it a miss print on the application??

WOW.... flashback.

That's an old test. Gold star for you if you let them know. There is no 250.95 in the 99, 03, or 05. I suspect that this test said 250-95 (with a dash). That's your tip that it's '99 or earlier. The last time 250-95 was in the code was '96. They rearranged things after that.

The '96 250-95 is now 250.122 and the '96 table 250-95 is now 250.122

ya, it was with a dash. i noted it on the app. that i didnt find art. 250-95. i didnt get a chance to talk to the person reviewing the app. im surprised that a company like that didnt have their test updated. thanks for the info. learn something new everyday!!

They did not let you know what code cycle the test was based on?
That's pretty irresponsible IMO.

Or it was deliberate, just to see how sharp the applicant is or how far back his memories might go. I sorta doubt it, but it's possible. I guess it's mostly a matter of the owner hasn't looked at the test in years, and the unknowledgeable secretary keeps handing it across the counter. I can see that happening pretty easily. I did have a 10 question code quiz, but I gave the code book and the Ugly's book with the test.
