More 24v gate problems

I posted back in Jan. about having gate opener problems. The gate would start to open and then stop about a fourth of the way open. The problem turned out to be a bad ground wire. It's worked great for six months. It has now opened and is stuck in the open position. The fuses are ok. The power light is on. The charge ok light is on. The radio rec. light comes on when you push the remote. When the opener was working properly, the "system on" light would come on and then go off after the gate opened or closed. Now when you push the remote the "system on" light blinks rapidly. Nothing happens and the light will not shut off. Thanks for any help.

I had some serious gate control issues years ago and it was due to the fact the combus wire was slightly too long and the system became very intermitten. We ended up buliding a heated dog house near the gate to house some electronics, what gate opener and control system are you using?
