Solar Pool Heater


Hi will shortly be buying a solar pool heater (for above ground pool)
1/ which is the best to get
2/ is it possible to put it about 30 ft away from my pool on the ground
any feedback more than welcome.

what is a bit ironic here is that the solar heating system will probably cost just as much - if not more than the above ground pool

30 feet, serious loss of flow, replumb everyting w, 1.5 or 2".. otherwise system will be choked..
as fas as brand doesn't matter.....

Hi maybe I was not clear but it's the rubber type one with the water flowing through the elements which you just place in with full sun all day

Run 1/2 inch tubing around the edge (of the pool) with a 3 way bypass valve connected after the filter. About 6 rolls or 600 ft should do. $100 tops.
