Question about subs in other areas

I thought I might start a conversation, since it seems pretty slow around here.

In my area there are basically NO subs in the pool business. The only thing anyone around here subs out is steel but we prefer to do that ourselves. We do everything ourselves, from forms to plaster. My crew of 5 plus me do everything. I'm not in the field as much anymore but on shotcrete or plaster day it's all hands on deck and I carve mud and trowel plaster with the boys. I also still do most of the repair/service work myself.

What's it like where you guys are? What parts of your projects do you do yourselves and what do you sub out? Or are many of you subcontractors yourselves?
