Productive Threads

intelligent & challenging dialogue. the key to staying the course of a productive thread, is to resist the urge to interject cute comments & vaguely related antedotes. the small community on this forum, encompasses the three structural disciplines. concrete, liner, & fiberglass.
what do you guys want to elaborate on?

I'm willing to lend my experience in liner pool construction, leak detection, renovation, mechanical repairs, structure & hydrolics pertaining to water features.

I enjoy the service call threads. when answered productively they are fun

Re: Productive Threads

Hey ray
I work mostly with gunite pools const., renovations, weekly and seasonal maint. But we change probably 6-8 vinyl liners a year. We have been trying to put in a vinyl pool from scratch but in my area the demand is mostly gunite. I do have a 16 x 32 which has been under contract since last year, but the home owner is still working through the zoning board. Any tips you may have re: new installs?
thanks scott

Re: Productive Threads

poolman...

as you know every install has its own circumstances. if something is giving you trouble, elaborate & ill take an honest crack at it. about 50-60 replacements a season. there isn't a kit I haven't done yet, so feel free.
