Multi Use Lap Pool

Hello guys,

I'm usually over in masonry part of this here forum participating as I can but i have a pool question and I'm not sure I'd trust a brickie to give a good answer.

I run a D/B Outdoor contracting company that is gradually morphing into what I envisioned 3 years ago or so when we began. Meaning we are starting to get some high end jobs etc which is pushing me to learn all kinds of new things.

The long and the short of it is I have a client who would like to try to find the perfect pool to fit his particular situation. We are currently leveling out his back yard with masonry retaining walls in order to create usable space for a large pergola to be used for entertaining etc. Well he now would like put in a small combo pool under this pergola. I'm sure that I'm not using the right terms but by combo pool I mean this. A pool that could function as a nice reflecting pool that would add to the aesthetics of the landscape design but still could keep it's functionality and serve as a small endless/lap pool for the homeowner to use at his discretion.

Does this make sense? Can someone point me to some manufacturers or to an online gallery or 2.

Any input would be appreceated.

Thanks,

Tim

How about a recreation swimming pool 3' shallow 5' deep 3'-4' shallow (a number of water sports to use this kind of pool ie volley ball, badminton, basketball etc.) with maybe a raised 12" or plus bond beam on one side of the pool for a waterfall/fountain or endless/infinity edge water way, swim jets at one end of the pool to swim against the currant...do a goggle search there's plenty of info on swimming pools/spas/water features/waterfalls/fountains (now I'm giving to much) to the question. Just a thought

Take a look at these guys. The name is Endless Pools, they are located in Aston, Pa. I tried to post the website but was told I can't.

Thanks guys,

Sorry for the slow response time, i've been away. I will check out endless pools offerings.

And j_builder you are right I need to invest more time researching this. I was just not sure if anybody had a lead on a really good company to work with. When googling companies it is hard to pick out the wheat from the chaff so to speak.

I'll keep you posted and I'm sure I will have a bunch of questions.

lukachuki,

Look up Badu Jet you should be able to google to their website fairly easily.
We have installed one of these units last year in a vinyl lined swimming pool instead of gunite due to budget constraints. But the client loves it!!!!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Scott
