Ground For Pool Rail
I've looking at installing a stainless steel handrail for pool steps. Does the rail need to be grounded?

Re: Ground For Pool Rail
The rail needs to be bonded and grounded. I had a customer with one that was shocking the swimmers with the power meter on the house pulled off. It turned out to be a neighbor with a bad water heater element.
If grounding is not possible there are rigid plastic rails now available for that purpose. |
