cracked joints between coping

what is the pro's recommendation for repairing cracked joints between coping-currently it appears to be mortar and the cracks range from hairline to 1/4".

I spoke w/ Deck-o-seal and they recommended 787-their deck-o-seal product but didn't get clarification if that was acceptable between coping or geared more for the expansion joint between the coping and deck.

72chevy4x4-Any pic's?

Taking into consideration that your talking about safety grip standard coping. To really do a "professional" job I'd just remove the motar between the coping, deckoseal isn't going to get the look of the motar and it's going to look like a hack job imo.

You might also want let the pool owner know that also.

Repairing Cold Joint Fun

I'll second that and add this. Make sure the coping is not loose. If it is safety coping and loose; remove it, buff bottom with mini grinder ect and re-attach with straight white cement that is fairly wet; it will not come loose again.
