Concrete Decking
my customer has an old concrete pool that was cast together with a 2.5 ft decking around it (see pictures). the pool has multiple structural cracks and I am wandering if we should sawcut the decking or not.
I dont know if this deck/band around the pool adds to its structural strendgh or is the cause of the cracks. What do you think we should do? thanks |

Re: Concrete Decking
It won't help. the decking adds no structure to the pool. Any pool guy should know this.

Re: Concrete Decking
If multiple structural cracks through wall, it's probably not worth trying to save, looks like a really small pool anyway. (10' max by maybe 20')
