Question Wedi Systems

Has anyone used this sytem? at a trade show, i saw this shower pan/wall system. i have to say. it looked real interesting, the idea of not using a traditional pan liner is appealing to me. and the drain assembly was genius!!!! THANKS GENE

Gene,

I havent used it, but I hear from those who have that it's great stuff... It's also very expensive, and availability is extremely limited. Go over to the forums at JohnBridge.com and do a search on it... It's been discussed to death. The North American rep is a registered member over there. His forum ID is "Bastian".

I admit that I have ZERO experience with the stuff, but I just dont see it working out for me... Most of the showers I do are unusual sizes, so any pre-fabbed pan generally wont work. I use Schluter's Kerdi system on a regular basis... Set the drain on a sloped mud floor and cover everything with the orange membrane... It's quick and easy, and readily available.
