Recommended Shower Surround Adhesive?

Anybody have a recommendation for an adhesive for a plastic shower surround? I just noticed that Liquid nails states "not for plastic/vinyl".

Look for a foam panel adhesive, I know some of the budget minded shower surrounds recommend this. liquid nails may dissolve the product.

Liquid Nails does make a formula for surrounds too. About 50 cents more a tube, iirc.

Its been probably 15 years since I have done a tub surround, but, we used to use tile mastic - spread on the walls with a 1/8" v-notch trowel.

Never had any issues, and you got a real good initial "stick"

Thanks for all the replies guys. I ended up using Loctite Power Grab Tub Surround Construction Adhesive. Seems to be holding like a charm so far but time will tell.
