my 1st kitchen question on laminate / melamine

hey guys im building my 1st kitchen for my own place, its an apartment building so im going cheap, if its wood i can build it but for the melamine
i see im going to come into problems.

im buying the 4x8 sheets from HD
question
how do i nail the frame together with out seeing the nails ? or do i have to use plain chip ply and laminate it?

the inside cabinets im not worried about just the one side that's going to show

If you go to an actual lumber/plywood supplier, they have material that is one side white melamine and the other side veneered with cherry, oak, or maple.

Home Depot won't have it on account of them sucking.

Wafers and or dowels for the face frames with cant strip (A triangular shaped piece) instaled behind and the face frame blind nailed with added carpenters glue and all the devices stated in other comments. Pre laied sheets covered both sides use edge tape for the doors if using the same product for the doors as your cabinets. We have a company that has sheets made up covered both sides in muty styles and colors (Aura lumber)

The double sided stuff exists, but you will probably not be able to get it in small quantities. Just skin it with 1/4" of the same species, a little contact cement and some 23 ga nails will get you where you want to be. Obviously you only need it on ends that are exposed. Usually on melamine I use biscuits and screws. Sometimes I use pocket screws, but usually not to join mel to mel but mel to faceframe.

Being built

Skined and installed.
