Inexpensive Tub Liner
I've installed a couple of 3 piece tub stall liner kits as found in the big box stores. Any tips on getting one of these installed with the sheetrock repair in one day (not including painting)? I suppose a fast setting 10 minute mud mix would expedite the process, but with subsequent coats there would be nothing else to do on this particular job. Hate to sound lazy, but is there a kit with a nailing flange where the panels snap and glue in place?

Re: Inexpensive Tub Liner
Not what you are asking, but......
If it takes more than one day, why not sell them up to ceramic tile, you can easily demo, hang CBU, tile, grout, and caulk in one day, just let the tile go higher than the seam on the repair so you do not need a finish coat. |
