Yup. The first thing I did was look at the location.

So are you a member of NTCA? Have you passed your CTI or ACT in Mud in either Flat or walls?

Do you even know what these letters stand for? show us picts (with camera details of time and place So I know they are yours) of the work you have done in the last 5 weeks. Here is a few to get things started.

this was my last three weeks jobs.

In you first pic the tile rests on top of the tub. There is no flange so what did you do to prevent water from creeping under the Schluter profile and behind the tub

On that assembly I set the tub on framing lathed and beded the bench and walls. I used blur foam between the tub edge and mortar bed. once cured I cut back th foam and Sikaflexed the joints. then the whole assembly was water proofed with hydro fles using the mesh. the waterproofing went about 1" onto the top of the tub. I may make a white board drawing

You can spot van arsdale job from a mile away. His horse is tied up out front and and he's mixing his mud with tree branch in a wood barrel. Your all suckers!

Caulking is easy to do correctly. Other systems rely on using mortar to adhere plastic together. Personally, I'd pick a stable caulking over a thin layer of absorbent mortar to seal up a shower.

Wedi is my preferred system, especially if I have access to the plumbing from below the floor. I'm not the biggest fan of the rubber donut on the drain and placement needs to be spot on for remodel work. I really like they way they deal with caulk, pre waterproofed pans, and rigidity of the panels. From an install perspective, nothing beats it.

I've been using the USG system that is a knock off of Kerdi. It offers the best price point and virtually the same as schluter.
