Tiling Basement Bathroom Floor

Just finish pouring new slab section over new plumbing for a basement bathroom. I have some questions regarding laying tile.

1-The is a fine joint bewteen the old slab and the repaired section of concrete. How do I handle that?

2- The rest of floor is uneven and I need to level, SLC? Can I pour SLC over entire surface and then Ditra?

3-Old slab was painted years ago. How does SLC adhere?

4-Should I use an isolation membrane spanning old and new slab and then lay tile?

thanks

Yeah get rid of the old paint for sure. Use a bonding agent before pouring the slc. If you have a lot of area to do get two guys to help mix the slc or you'll go nuts trying to mix and poor without it drying up on you too quickly.
