Tile Picture Request

Hi all,

I'm getting ready to start a bathroom remodel end of this week/ early next week and had my pre con meeting with the client today to make sure they have everything (she didn't).

We were going over the tile layout, and she has 8x20 travertine going in the shower, with 2x4 travertine mosaics selected for the wainscotting in the rest of the bathroom. I had no hand in the design, and I've never laid out one quite like that. Have any of you done something similar that you could post some photos of? To me it sounds like its going to look funky, but I could be wrong.

Thanks,
Rich

Re: Tile Picture Request

What do you need a pic for? I never question my clients taste but they certainly value and most often ask for my opinion. You should be questioning your client if she has seen it. As long as the client is happy it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Re: Tile Picture Request

I was looking to see if anyone had a picture of a similar install because I have never done that and looking online I couldn't find anything that resembled it. I'm trying to picture it in my head and it doesn't seem like it will work, but maybe someone out there has done it and it looks good

Re: Tile Picture Request

I'll talk to her tomorrow and see if she would be good with running the larger tile on the lower section of the shower and into her wainscotting, then using the smaller ones for the upper part of the shower.
