Thanks JJ, saved me the trouble. Keep in mind, even the L/360 (1/360) is the absolute minimum. The structure still isn't there.

Actually the exact distance from foundation wall to center of bearing beam is 11' 8". Maybe my presumption was acceptable after all. I jumped (210 lbs) on the floor in 4-5 dif areas and felt no deflection. Wouldnt you say we may be ok after all ?

btw....all of you (repliers) are an asset to the construction industry. I appreciate each and every one of you. I only hope I can assist anyone that has needs in my field on this site in the near future as well.

Ok, I dont feel any better after that answer but thanks for the straight up reply. I think we'll be keeping a very close eye on things and if I see any problems arising I will be sure to post it so you guys can get some satisfaction on your warnings...untill then game over......
