Re: Tile Inlay

All the big boys bought these massive machines and when the economy went bust, they couldn't afford the payments. If you search some online auctions, you'll soon find quite a few of these around for cheap. Bad part is, you'll usually have to pay a rigger to go get it and ship it to you. Still a lot cheaper then trying to buy a new one.

As for the program loading, there are a lot of start up internet sites spealizing in stuff like this that'll help you thru it. Major point of interest! Make sure you get the size of the machine you purchase correct. Nothing worse then buying something you have no room to put it.

Re: Tile Inlay

I don't own that one. I actually bought a wet band saw. It's smaller and was designed for cutting glass. I have not had the chance to use it yet but I will be doing a job soon that I hope to finally get to try it. I'm doing 2 back splashes; one with marble, glass and copper and the other is all iridescent glass with a metallic grout. Should be fun!

I'll post what happens!

Re: Tile Inlay

I would definitely say there is a huge market for Custom Tile Inlays. I think that you need to find some one to re-sell your product. We would be interested but you need to be able to mass produce floor inlays and tile inlays. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Dave
