Re: Slate Tile Question

I hope he at least lurks around and figures it out.

If you can't take a little heat from a few guys on an online forum, you're never going to survive the average jobsite.

Re: Slate Tile Question

Seriously a roofing/window guy (now general contractor) with maybe 10 posts thinks we're assholes. ouch.

What would he say if a painter (not that there's anything wrong with that:-) called himself a roofer and went on the forum to ask how do I price a tearoff? He probably would say you have no business being on a roof.

I always like the term general contractor, too. That should be someone with knowledge and experience concerning the entire project. Just calling yourself a general contractor doesn't make you one.

And, sizing a glue lam? go ask the glue lam company. That their business and they have the knowledge. sheesh.
