"say What"?

I just noticed something.

This Ceramic & Stone Tile department has NINE MODERATORS. What the hell for? Why are NINE MODERATORS necessary. Not including this thread that's one moderator for each of the nine threads that exist.

OK, how many of you guys (NINE MODERATORS) know anything about ceramic & stone tile? Stand up and be counted.

Re: "say What"?

We have nine moderators period. (actually 8 but I haven't deleted mdshunk yet).

They moderator ALL the forums so they are listed in every one.
Florcraft is responsible for the flooring section but we all have the ability to moderate anywhere.

We are going to be looking for more moderators soon. We need more actually.

Re: "say What"?

Yea, I'm about to post about this in the general forum. This actually happened a few weeks ago but I forgot to post about it.

mdshunk's company has landed a bunch of huge jobs and he as grown a ton in the period of a few months. He just no longer has time to help moderate the site. He will still be around though.

Thanks for asking.

Re: "say What"?

OIC, well that explains it.

I was beginning to think Nathan that you were taking directives from "THAT OTHER" DIY Site (not your DIY Chat). Every time a fart squeaks past over there one of those characters jump in and delete whatever they personally consider offensive or against their rules. Hell I was banned for posting my email address one time. I did it in an effort to help a DIY'er personally via telephone calls and of course the Moderators said that was against the law over there. Another time I was called-down for "Moderator Bashing". The guy was a moron and was puking bad information. I was nice about correcting his comments but he took offense to that and locked me out until I could read the PM he sent me scolding me for embarrassing him. The place is a riot. If he doesn't want to be embarrassed he shouldn't ever open his mouth.
