What does the economy have to do with it? That only affects gas prices. And food. And housing.

Whatever you were charging last week, last month or last year should be fine.

In fact, I raised all my rates by 60% and people thought I was some hot shot high falutin' contractor, and they were afraid they couldn't afford me. So I offered them a 10% discount. Now they flock to me.

about .80¢ a foot.
Does that price refer to the customers foot (or feet) or the number of contractors feet (foots) that will be working on the project?

My foot is medium sized, the customer's foot might be bigger or smaller. Would he have to up-charge for a bigger foot? Or discount for a smaller foot?

Andy.

Re: Pricing

interesting argument about pricing per foot. If I'm a size 9, my crew wears an 11 and 8.5, should I average those feet or take the lowball approach and charge 8.5/ft across the board? Is this the new standard for pricing tile work?
