Not finding much on line about this. In a shower, for tile. After I hang the Durock, how do I prepare the joints? This should be easy for Yall!

Re: Prep. Question???

Alkaline resistant mesh tape, press thinset into it as you set the tile.

I also agee to the mesh tape with thinset . I used to do it a day before and let it dry , but i do it as i go now to prevent any bulging at the seams from dry thin-set.

How about the ceiling angle?
Durock on the wall,
DensArmor on the ceiling.
Have to Durabond the ceiling,

Re: Prep. Question???

The tape is kinda sticky, just mud it to the ceiling and let it hang, thinset will deal with it later.
