Long Tile Overlap / Lippage

Most recent project has me installing 6x24 and as expected, the manufacturer recommends a maximum of 1/3 overlap.

If the tile is sufficiently flat and a good leveling system is used, are there additional concerns?

I am a random pattern guy when it comes to wood plank tile. If it's anything other than plank I will stick to 1/3 offset.
