Issues With Natural Stone
We've done a Noce Travertine natural stone job for a large office building. The GC jumped us through hoops, but we ended up replacing some tile and had to use tile from a different lot. We told them it wouldn't be a perfect match but they wanted it anyway. Now they want us to make it match better. We may need some "expert" advise in the tile industry. Any suggestions on who to talk to?

Re: Issues With Natural Stone
V-rating be of any help? Natural means color variations, due to it being natural.
How many individual tiles are you talking about? Can you get some that match better by doing some hand picking with your tile source? I thought you guys in commercial work had a better paper trail available to you when it comes to selections of materials due to material specification guidelines from the architect or the GC. |
