That's what I figured. My boss told my helper-who has limited experience grouting- to mix up an entire bag and grout the shower by himself. 3x5x8' plus ceiling. By the time I was free to help wash it was too late.

That shouldn't happen. IMO, Why make something that you know will be touched by grout and have it corrode? Had a Kohler medicine cabinet do that. Really fries my ....
I know what you mean. I've used the same brand with no issue for years..... I also know not to bite off more than I can chew in one shot with grout. Unlike my boss.
