More Input Needed

Just let me start by saying thank you for the time and effort you put into answering our questions( especially mine ).

Follow me if you will,.....................it's a cold and dreary night...HA HA!!

I have a brick wall that my customer wants to light. The wall is a lite colored brick almost white. On either side of the wall are 2 windows. The wall is 7.5' tall and 6.5' between the windows. The windows themselves are roughly 6' tall. I said all that in an effort to explain the situation, I basically have an area 6.5' x 7.5' to wash with windows on both sides.

I am looking at :

1. VISTA 3250 MR16 LN-35 FMW/60
2. VISTA 5204 MR16 LN-35 FMW/60
3. KICHLER ?
4. UNIQUE ?
I would like to keep with the MR16 if at all possible simply because there are other lights in the system with MR16 lamps.

Thanks,

Personally I would go with either the Kichler 15396 with a 20 watt lamp or the Unique Starburst with the 20 watt lamp and frosted lens. I hate the "V" that you get from the MR16 when trying to wash a wide area. There's nothing saying that you can't use a combination of fixtures, just make it look like you meant to do it. If you must use MR fixtures be sure to use something to spread the beam like a linear lens.

I would also back off of that 35 watt lamp. This light brick will be far too reflective for that bright of a lamp. I would go with 20 watts max.

I agree with Paul. I have used the Unique Starburst and Stellar for lighting horizontal and square wall areas. I experimented with both type bulbs and quickly found the right choice for the application. It wasnt the MR16.
Good Luck!

I agree with Paul to and not just because he is a Paul.

Flood all the way, 2' back, 20W, almost straight up. If there are shrubs where the light wants to be move the shrubs. Actually, don't do that, put the light on a riser in the shrub.
