Low Voltage Post Lamp
Question:
Has anyone ever used a line voltage exterior post lamp and wired/lamped it for low voltage--i have done many pillar lights like this using a 50watt A19 12 volt bulb--same principle right? |

Re: Low Voltage Post Lamp
Our company has done this many times and yes you have the right idea. One you can run a low voltage cable to the desired location and connect it that way or you can use a mini transformer at the line voltage connection point. These mini transformer are normally rated for 75w so a 50w A19 would be fine.
