I PASSED the Georgia exam!

You are required to have a state low voltage license to do any low voltage work in the state of Georgia. The categories are Unrestricted, Alarm, Telecom or General. I got a lot of help from a preparation class from a company called Power Learning Systems. The instructor Steve Dale was fantastic! Without him I don't think I would have passed this difficult exam. He teaches State exam preparation and continuing education in Florida and Georgia. I think his web address is **************.com.

His office number is: 800-743-8027, and email is:

Low Voltage Test?

In Michigan there is no test for low volt. It would really help us though beccause way too many landscape contractors are performing shotty installs and sometimes even messing with the 120v electrical. How long has this test been around and what type of questions are asked? I wan't to try to push for some kind of test in this area. I have been taking pictures for years of the dangerous work some of these guys have been doing. Its straight ridiculous. Thanks Steve. And Congrats!
