Re: How Many Out There Perform Only Landscape Lighting?

I just joined the forum and thought this would be a good thread to post my introduction as exterior lighting is all we/I do.

I run Illuminata in Birmingham, Michigan, just North of Detroit and was refered to this forum by Brooke Perin of Wolf Creek Company. Some of you may know her.

We are very small and specialized doing moslty architectural grade low voltage design and installation and more recently service and repair. In fact, maintenence is where we are putting most of our resources this year to develop that side of the business.

I have been in this industry nearly fifteen years and have worked in the Cincinnati, Washington DC and now Michigan markets (Michigan has been the toughest needles to say). My background is electrical engineering (UK) but I worked in all aspects of the landscape industry for six years too so I know quite a bit about landscaping AND lighting. I am keen to contribute what knowledge I have and learn new things too.

The Private AOLP forum is a little busier than this one but I would say that many are gearing up for spring. I'm running my tail off.
