AOLP standards

Where do I go to read the AOLP “ Standards for the Installation of Low Voltage Landscape and Architectural Lighting”? I can't seem to find them on the AOLP website or on the net. UL 1838 has a similar title, but is this the document you mean? That's like a 500 dollar standard.

Consequently, what happened to LVLIA that it had to be renamed to AOLP?

The LVLIA became the AOLP because it wanted to be more inclusive of the entire outdoor lighting industry. This includes HID lighting. There are many contractors, including myself that install both line and low voltage lighting.

The web site is currently being completely renovated. We are hoping to make a lot of the content available online. This will take some time though. In the mean time, if you would like a copy, send me your address and I will send it to you.

That would be great, Paul.

I have NECA 501, which is also a fantastic workmanship type standard for outdoor lighting.

Hello

I would really appreciate seeing a copy of that standard. I am the vice chair of the Landscape Ontario Lighting Commodity Group (2nd largest green industry association in N. America) and we are currently working on a set of standards of installation.

my email is james@integralighting.com or my fax is 705-385-9115.

Thanks.
