Re: AOLP Forum

Paul, haven't heard anything yet about my membership.
Sent in the application and payment about two weeks ago.

Seems like on-line application and payment set-up would make it a lot more friendly and efficient, don't you think?

Re: AOLP Forum

Gregg, online applications are something that the website committee will be looking into, I'm sure. Have you tried to contact the office yourself? Here is the email for our new Executive Director jodi@calabresemgt.com . I'm going to be out of the country for this week so if you write her yourself it may save a little time. I sent her an email last week but as I said before, they are still unpacking all of the stuff from Arizona.

Went ahead and sent that email yesterday... no response

So I just now called and talked to Jodi by phone and she couldn't find it but will try to locate my application sometime today.

I notice on the website that the address has now changed from the P.O. Box in Phoenix to the management company in Harrisburg, PA.

Sounds like my application might be somewhere in between and being forwarded....?

Re: AOLP Forum

So, it's been another two days and Jodi hasn't called back yet or responded to my email....

How long should I give them before I complain about the lack of customer service?

Re: AOLP Forum

Paul

It would appear that my ability to access the AOLP forum has been removed. Could you please re-instate my access to the forum?

I have a feeling this is not some technical glitch but rather an intended action. If that is the case, do you not think that some form of notice would have been appropriate?

I know that stern words have passed between MG and I, but I do not think that what transpired should result in any form of ban or removal from the forum. I think I explained my position rather succinctly.

I look forward to your reply.

Re: AOLP Forum

Well it has been almost a full month now...

I would like to know exactly when the board of the AOLP intends to re-instate my ability to read and post on the AOLP forum.

Is this forum worth anything? Seems like it's a lot of hassle.

Re: AOLP Forum

Things are going quite well on the private AOLP forum. The forum that is being discussed is a private forum for Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals only. It's one of the benefits of membership that allows the members from all across the country to bounce ideas off of each other and also share tricks of the trade.

What do you have to do to join? I'm not an outdoor lighting person, exclusively, but I'd still like to participate by "lisitening".

You need to send an email to the AOLP giving them your username for ContractorTalk.com and tell them you need let into the private forum. They will then check your account and email me so you can get let in.

Don't worry... it's only a one time deal.
