Tree Root Killer Help
All,
I have cut down 4 trees and pulled most of the roots from the planting beds on a job site. However, the roots are sproating the tree again. What can I use to kill the roots and still be able to fill the holes and plant over the tree sites? Is there a chemical or method which will kill the roots and allow me to plant shrubs in its spot? Thanks In Advance |

Round up is designed to kill only green foliage that it encounters, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roundup

Re: Tree Root Killer Help
It'll work on fresh cut stumps when coming into contact with the cambium layer. Green foliage serves as the gateway to get it into the plant system. I've used to kill small trees though open cut application as well.
