Tips For Leveling Lot
I've searched the LS and Excavation thread but didn't have any luck with the chosen keywords.
what kind of methods have you used to successfully level a lot? I'll usually backblade high spots into low and float a yard rake in all directions to level. this doesn't always work well b/c the rake is on the back of the tractor and the tractor drives into any low spots which tilts the rake in the back. I have a 3' section of 9.5' wide chain link fence with two posts and considering making a drag bar-my thought is the wider the better-right? Our local yard has a Harley Rake, but I would like to figure out how to utilize the equipment I have if possible. Besides the 5' yard rake I have a 5' box blade which does nice work of the rough leveling and spreading. |
