Need Help With Removing Metal Fence Post From Cement
I have a client whos pool fence fell from the latest hurricane in south florida. The posts are set into the concrete patio around the pool... Question, how do you remove and ad a new post without braking up the whole patio????

Re: Need Help With Removing Metal Fence Post From Cement
Cut off the old post flush using a zizwheel. If there is concrete inside the stub, remove it by drilling, chiseling and using a shopvac.
Now you have 2 options, remove the stub in the concrete by using a sawzall to slice the walls and caving in the sections or leaving the stub and finding a sleeve that will fit the inside of the pipe. Either way, use epoxy to set the connections. The first way will be more time consuming but stronger, the second way is just the opposite.

Saw it off flush. Core drill out the concrete, slightly larger than the pipe still in the cement. Epoxy in new post.
