Count all of the blades of grass in the sod, then subtract your mother's age, add your wife's age, and then divide by your age. Once that is just do the normal ft2 calcs.
Hope this helps.

A good price would be about 1000 bucks a Square Foot. A realistic price would be cost of materials, cost of labor, plus OH and profit.

Whatever price you decide on you should up-charge for things like a good quality sod mortar rolled to a good pancake like consistency with a 1" nap roller. Oh, don't forget to use a good quality sod grout (sanded or non) I get mine from HD or Lowe's.
Boy you came to right place for info like this, these guys here are a special breed.
I hope this helps.
Andy.

Bodger, you're cruel, self-serving , and just plain mean. However, I don't see his post in the GD section yet. You think he will actually do it?
Green side up? Come on wyoming 1, read the OP. He wanted the price per square foot not the color per square foot.

Hey, we've been a little short of newbie price lynch-fests the past couple of days. I thought if he moved to GD, we'd get moe mileage.
I didn't even know this guy was in the crosshairs until PB sent me a PM

Hey, Bodg, I think you're on to something. Most of these guys start threads in their own trade forum. Maybe we should very politely suggest to them that they post in the GD forum for more and better answers. Poor saps will never know what hit them. Self-serving and very entertaining too.
