Re: Mini Skid Steer Input Please

How many hours are on each? I would have to say that the skid L sounds a little high. Also, Why would you get a ditch witch separate? Would it not be aventageous to just get an attachment for the mini. Just my .02

Re: Mini Skid Steer Input Please

I'd consider a skid steer as well. We've ran Gehl since the mid 80's. Realy great machines. As far as mini-skids, we are currently demo'ing a Gehl AL20DX with an attachment package. However in your case I would look at a full size skid steer to do what you are wanting to do.

Here's what I'm trying to pick up. Using a rental now and the monster pulled out a 10" foundation wall.....with a little hammer and saw help.

"Retail" is around 35k new. You could probably pick it up for a little over 30k depending on the attachments. The one we are demo'ing is 2 years old and has a little over 80 hrs. All the attachments (except the bucket) are new. Haven't really discussed price with the dealer, we've dealt with them many times over the years so it was "take it and try it- if you like it we'll talk" but I'm expecting an initial offer around 22-24k. Have a couple of more days left to demo before I have to have it back.

Re: Mini Skid Steer Input Please

Thats about what I expected you would say.

Fact is that I wont be spending that big of bucks for my equipment at this time.

The price will be a total of about 30k including trailer and attachments, with a 30% investment to start.

Everthing will be NEW !!!

Will post pics as soon as I take delivery, supposed to be next week.

Purchased and took delivery my Box Trailer/Cargo Hauler already.
I Like it.

Re: Mini Skid Steer Input Please

Got the SK500 with a Standard Bucket, Trenching/Digging attachment for 12" wide trenching, Carry-all leveling attachment and the Scarifier/Grading Rake. I also ordered the Aftermarket Operator Step attachment to make it a "Ride On" as needed.
Will take delivery next week.

Re: Mini Skid Steer Input Please

anyone here have or used the new boxer brute, that machine is awsome, it is the smallest, lightest machine for its power, I think it weighs in at just over 1500# with a 27hp deisel, speed is in line with the kanga machines, not sure if it has a self leveling bucket, sweet machine though if and when I replace the kanga, I'll be getting the brute

After I saw this post I searched out the equipment and found this site:http://www.cpiequipment.com/index.html

That looks like it can do the job and has some really cool features too !!

Very interesting indeed, thanks for the post.

i have a bobcat mt55 and would highly recomend it. good power and low ground pressure. takes almost all of the skidsteer atachments. i plan to keep mine but from what i have seen they retain their value well.
