Mike I believe you are on the right track. The IA and ANA certainly do their share of good work but their focus is understandably narrow. Getting someone behind this that understands what Landscape Contracting totally encompasses would be key.
Having some type of sectioning for the exam would also be critical I would think. In our case we wouldn't need the pesticide/herbicide applicators license, but we still need the Irrigation license, Ag license, etc... Now, how do you address the problem of having a standard licensing requirement when each state seems to be all over the board with what they think should and should not be licensed? |
