Im sure everyone has heard of it, its been all over the news and gonna be around more and more. Biodiesel.. For any landscapers that run all diesel equipment or trucks.. I would highly suggest taking a look into it.

Whether you are buying it from somewhere or make it yourself. We have 6 Diesel trucks and 6 Pieces of equipment that run on diesel.. We run BioDiesel in all of them. WE SAVE HUGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY.

One of my partners is obbsessed with this, and i will probably end up investing with him in a biodiesel plant, but anyways.. he makes his own biodiesel, that we use in our trucks and such. I think we had a little over 400 bucks in buying the stuff to start making it and the set-up and what not. Well now we can produce a gallon of biodiesel for 73 cents... thats a little better then 2.39 if you ask me. Not to mention our trucks run alot smoother, and have more power, of course with some updates such as exhaust, boost and all that.

Also you get a whole bunch of breaks from the government for the amount of biodiesel you consume and all that. Anyone runnin alot of diesel.. I would look into it, saves us a huge amount of $$$ not to mention it saves the environment too since it is so much cleaner. I be curious to see if anyone else out there is running biodiesel and how its working for them. Have good researching
