T&M Contract
Guys does anyone have T&M contract they can share?
I have a buddy of mine, who is a roofer and he never does T&M jobs and needs one for a job. I would have given him mine, but since I never do T&M work, I cant find it. Thanks, Cole

Re: T&M Contract
I’m looking to revamp my current non specific time and material proposal and contract.
Anyone have a good one?

Re: T&M Contract
Cole,
Below is a link for one which might work for him. It is fairly detailed and he could tack his clauses on to the end like he would for a non-TM contract http://www.pnnl.gov/contracts/docume...s/cpp_lhtm.doc Let me know if it works for you.

Re: T&M Contract
I think the only way contracts could work is for explanations of rates, how materials will be purchased, and payment/billing schedules. I guess one could throw in some damage clauses. Other than that, I don't know how a T/M contract would be.

Re: T&M Contract
This is a really old thread.
![]() But anyways, I do mostly T&M. My contract is simple. It states the hourly rate for labourers, carpenters, and myself. All materials are billed at MY cost. All sub-trade costs are entered at their invoice amounts. Total all these up, add overhead and profit margins, and that's what the HO gets billed. All time sheets, material invoices, sub invoices are there for the HO to see and check. I usually invoice weekly. But it depends on the job. If it's for a repeat customer and will only be a couple of weeks I invoice at the end. To have a successfull T&M relationship there has to be a certain amount of trust here. I DO NOT spend my clients funds foolishly. The clients best interests always come first. |

Re: T&M Contract
Just keeping the thread alive, with a monthly check-in.
Even though it may be old, it's still a good reference.
