You have asked this in at least three different places.

I have built my own contracts, and if I could do it, anyone can.

Re: Subcontractor Form In More Detail?

Hello, this is my first time to use this site and I need some help with a legal phrase. I am creating a subcontractor contract and have been asked to add an item stating that all workers must be US citizens and of legal age. Any ideas??

Thanks,
Melarie

That might be a discriminory thing to add...what about people on work visas - they are not US Citizens....Canadians need not apply?...

You might want to ask the people asking you, to be a bit more specific.

Wensdy - I've read the other posts on subcontractor agreements and they are all standard form agreements available at Staples or online. They are worthless because neither you or the sub talk that way. Write your own in an understandable format. i.e.
1.) all subcontractors shall have proof of insurance
2.) any person working under the subcontractor will be covered by workmen's comp
3.) Subcontractor will pick up & dispose of their own trash
4.) Subcontractor will behave & conduct themselves as a team within our team
Etc, etc
You have to say what you want the sub to understand so they will conduct themselves the way you want, work-wise, money-wise client-wise. Much more important than gobbledegoop lawyer talk. You're the GC- be in control
