Certificate Of Completion
Does anyone use or have a good certificate of completion for the homeowner to sign when you've finished the job and are going for your final?

![]() not a bad idea, imo, to have some sort of description of when the job is done in the contract. most people are reasonable and just want a good job. Then there's some who just won't leave you alone - out of spite. Advertisement

Re: Certificate Of Completion
Thank you both, I know what one is & also think that they are great ideas. ( I wont leave a job without one) I just was looking for one that was a little more professional looking than the one I had. Thanks again for the swift responses.

Re: Certificate Of Completion
To combat heming and hawing upon final payment and the like, I've incorporated into my payment schedual in my contract : "Final payment is due upon final township inspection."
Doing this signafies their acknowledgement that the scope of work is done as soon as it passes final. I affix the final inspection sticker to my invoice and ALWAYS make sure to hand it to the ho in person as I'm demobing. |

Re: Certificate Of Completion
Here is one I use and is tied to a inspection check list that is too large to upload here, so I will post a link to it.
http://www.zenitram-inc.com/Files/IN...ECK%20LIST.doc Also you really shouldn't do a certificate of completion until you have a approved final. |
