Certificate Of Completion

Does anyone use or have a good certificate of completion for the homeowner to sign when you've finished the job and are going for your final?

yes ... it is the receipt from the final draw

not a bad idea, imo, to have some sort of description of when the job is done in the contract.

most people are reasonable and just want a good job. Then there's some who just won't leave you alone - out of spite.

Re: Certificate Of Completion

Thank you both, I know what one is & also think that they are great ideas. ( I wont leave a job without one) I just was looking for one that was a little more professional looking than the one I had. Thanks again for the swift responses.

Re: Certificate Of Completion

To combat heming and hawing upon final payment and the like, I've incorporated into my payment schedual in my contract : "Final payment is due upon final township inspection."
Doing this signafies their acknowledgement that the scope of work is done as soon as it passes final. I affix the final inspection sticker to my invoice and ALWAYS make sure to hand it to the ho in person as I'm demobing.

Re: Certificate Of Completion

Here is one I use and is tied to a inspection check list that is too large to upload here, so I will post a link to it.

http://www.zenitram-inc.com/Files/IN...ECK%20LIST.doc

Also you really shouldn't do a certificate of completion until you have a approved final.
