NJ Contractor License

I have been in business 22 years......I applied for my license in Oct. 2005, and my check was cashed....I have not recieved anything....all registared mail has been ignored.....I re-registered several months ago....Again, they refuse to acknowledge they have my check.....i have all legal proof of how they are ignoring me....at this point, on the phone, a M. Nelson was taunting me, saying she would "review" my file....I was demanding my license.......She was only interested in making things as difficult as possible.........Where can i go?????who can help me?????

Re: NJ Contractor License

Wow, - - that's amazing.

I'm in Jersey, too.

I applied around about that same time, - - and got it after several months.

Not sure what you can do, really, - - but I think I would call straight to the Attorney General's office, - - and start by demanding at least some kind of paper trail that says you can work legally, - - and start keeping clear documentation of all phone calls, letters, etc . . .

And our government wants us to trust them to run HEALTH CARE???
