Maryland Licensing Question
I'm new to this board, thanks in advance for your help.
I currently own property through an LLC that I'll be renovating and acting as a general contractor. Here's my question: Am I required to get permits for framing and drywall? Is the MHIC a factor at all in anything that I'll be doing, since it is a business property, owned by a business? Thanks! |

Re: Maryland Licensing Question
The Maryland Home Improvement Law requires each contractor, subcontractor and salesperson to possess a home improvement license. To inquire about the licensing status of any individual or company, a homeowner may call MHIC at 410-230-6309 or 1-888-218-5925 or visit the webpage.
