Louisiana Licensing Requirement
one of the requirements to get a license here is to have our financials audited by a cpa for the last year. is that typical for anywhere else. his books have been a mess for years before he got me and i really dont know where to start to get them in order. wondering if it would be worth it to start a new corp. he has been incorporated since 92 in LA.

Re: Louisiana Licensing Requirement
Things are changing in Louisiana.
If you need the books in order, get an accountant to see what it will take. A new corporation may be paper only with no history, so it may not qualify depending on the requirements. You may have to over-bond or insure the first year. They probably are not looking at big liquid assets, but a history of being responsible.
