Indiana Licensing Question

Hello everyone. I was thinking about getting my license and was wondering what i need to get it in the state of indiana. I'm looking for license requirements and where I can apply for one and the cost. Pricing for surety bonds and how big of one I need. Also, what insurance I may need and the coverage amounts. Any suggetions of where I could find this info or if anybody knows, any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Indiana Licensing Question

Google is a wonderful thing.....I just hope what I found for you is correct. I am sure someone will let us no if this is wrong.

Contractor Licenses are obtained at the local level in the State of Indiana . This means that State requirements do not exist for public or private construction work. Contact your county or city's division of licensing services for more information on registering for contractor exams.

Re: Indiana Licensing Question

leadarrow pretty much has it right,
we are free to buy a license from
any county, municipality, or burg
that wants to stick a hand in your
pocket.
One year I was privileged to pay
for 12 of them.
